Sugarloaf

(c. Late 13th to Late 14th Century)

Please note that this was a joint project between Eric Joseph of James River Armoury and myself. Eric built the helmet from a 0.083" 1050 carbon steel plate set that I sent him. I heat treated, polished, and added the brass cross to the helmet.

CAD DXF file of the pattern for the ACL/BotN version of this Sugarloaf Helm without the brass cross. You can use this file to machine cut the metal plates.
